Sheets can turn grey or yellowish after a few while. Specially if the quality of the water isn’t great. There is nothing more off putting than sheets that are not crisp and fresh. To get your sheets the whitest of whites and super clean. Simply add baking soda at the beginning of cycle, then vinegar at the start of the rinse cycle.
Here is the recipe:
When washing your bed linens, add 1/2 cup of baking soda with your detergent at the beginning of the wash. Then, at the start of the rinse cycle, pour in 1/2 cup of white vinegar (don’t worry; that distinct odour of vinegar will rinse out). No need to use a fabric softener these two natural whiteners have a softening effect.
